For years, Wayne struggled to get the help he needed. He had experienced housing instability and long periods of homelessness before finding Options. Today, in our supportive housing program, Wayne is thriving! Here he is, playing his guitar, embracing a new chapter in his life, and receiving the care he deserves. We want to help more people like Wayne, but we can't do it alone. Your donations make a world of difference and help us continue our mission to provide safe housing and essential services to those in need. Donate today and give someone the chance to turn their life around. www.optionscl.org/giving/

Big thanks to the amazing team at Zebra Technologies, who came together to build a beautiful memorial garden at one of our homes! With their help, we planted perennials, cleaned up the yard, and created a peaceful space for our residents to enjoy. 🌼 Special thanks to United Way of Long Island for coordinating this effort! A wonderful day of giving back and team building!

Thank you for the shout-out!
This weekend I participated in the first ever NAMI QN FEST at Queensborough Community College. Part resource fair and part mental health festival, this event was a celebration of the amazing work of so many dedicated doctors, mental health professionals and key members of the community. 👏🏻 Congratulations to Anita Mancini for winning the Arnold R. Gould Founders Award. I am so glad we finally met in person and cannot wait for our panel in November! (Save the date for 11/6 at 6pm at Zucker Hillside Hospital) 🏠 The room was filled with representatives from organizations across Queens and Long Island. Always a pleasure to see Larry Grubler of @TSINY and Yolanda Robano-Gross of Options for Community Living, Inc. and learn more about mental health housing options. 👨🏼⚕️Last, but certainly not least, I met Dr. Robert Laitman and Dr. Ann Mandel. Thank you for answering so many important questions on the path to recovery from psychosis. Overall, an impactful day that I will surely repeat next year!
