Can you just wait to get insurance for something right before you know you’d use it? 🤔 I wondered and asked Wil about this on our latest podcast where we went over 4 popular myths in insurance 🍀 For something like health insurance, you would NOT want to do this! Here are some reasons why 👇🏼 1. If you have to take an emergency visit for any reason, you wouldn’t be able to get coverage quick enough 🏥 2. If you do get diagnosed with anything or end up needing a scheduled surgery, after that happens it may not be covered on new policies due to it being a preexisting condition 📝 3. The longer you wait, typically the more expensive rates get 💰

When should you get life insurance? 🤔 One of the things I didn’t realize about getting life insurance while you’re young is the fact that you get to lock in your rate early before it becomes expensive later on 🔐💰 As Wil says, your age goes fast! It’s better to make sure you’re covered rather than try to get life insurance after something happens 😅
