Way to go Deborah! ✨
I had an incredible time representing the Oregon Clean Power Cooperative while volunteering with the Oregon Solar + Storage Industries Association (OSSIA) for solar power day at Girls Build camp this year! We made solar-powered LEDs, and it was a joy to teach circuitry and problem solving to such dynamic kids⚡ 📸 Deonna Webb, Jo Blinman, and myself.

We are excited to see this solar array come online and pass inspection! The first system at First Alternative Natural Foods Co-op was installed 12 years ago. With the addition of more solar and batteries, thanks to community investors, the co-op will have #energyresilience when the power goes out! Thanks to Pure Energy Group for a great install!
It's a honor to serve in our community. Thank you First Alternative Natural Foods Co-op for continuing to work with us.

Power the future of forestry at Oregon State University with the OSU Forestry Solar Project! The project will install 848 solar panels—340 kilowatts of solar energy—on the roofs of Peavy and Richardson Halls. Become a community investor! Part of the funding for the project will come from community members. You can help power these buildings from the sun by investing in the project through the Oregon Clean Power Cooperative, which has financed nearly two dozen solar projects with community investment over the past decade. This project, a collaboration between OSU, the Oregon Clean Power Cooperative, the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition, and community members, will be one of the largest solar energy systems on the OSU campus and will: ✅ Champion sustainability for OSU's nationally-recognized College of Forestry ✅ Reduce reliance on fossil fuels, cutting OSU’s greenhouse gas emissions by 192 tons each year, equivalent to not driving a car more than 445,000 miles ✅ Lower energy costs for Peavy and Richardson Halls by more than $800,000 over the life of the project Investing is quick and easy – for more information, visit the project webpage https://lnkd.in/gyTARbYe or email info@oregoncleanpower.coop.
