We are pleased to invite you to attend the afternoon session of the upcoming Oregon Sea Grant Scholars Day on Friday, October 18, 2024. The event will take place in Corvallis, on the Oregon State University campus, with a remote attendance option available. Date: Friday, October 18, 2024 Time: 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM Location: OSU campus, Corvallis  Remote Option: Available (details to be provided upon RSVP) Join us and listen to panel discussions such as "Navigating Careers in Marine and Coastal Science" from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM, and listen to experts from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, and Oregon Sea Grant, learn about career opportunities, skills in the field, and job responsibilities, and take part in our Q&A! We will also be listening to student presentations from 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM showcasing research and projects by Oregon Sea Grant Fellows and Scholars. Topics range from commercial fishing training to climate change impacts on marine life.
