Working with Alyssa's family on organizing their new home after first working for them on the east coast was one of the best parts of my year. This mudroom and small den/office area in this new custom build home needed some organization after this sweet family moved in. We designated zones for these parents and their 2 kids & 3 dogs, plus their cleaning supplies, kid's arts and crafts, house papers, and things to grab when leaving the house. Mudrooms and miscellaneous rooms often are in need of the most organization because they serve so many purposes. Take the time to create a system that works for you and your family. I love seeing the unique features in custom built homes. Did you catch the dog’s watering area and even the little doggie door? Spring cleaning 💫 Many of us need to change the arrangement of clothes in our closets for the changing season and this should include kids too! I recommend sorting through kids clothes at least once per quarter because they grow so fast - especially little ones. Pull out clothes that no longer fit and box them up for donation or for hand-me-downs. Add new clothes that are now in season and on size into the mix.
