Avec la dernière navigation de l’AC75 il y a quelques jours, c’est officiellement la fin de cette incroyable aventure Barcelonaise pour l’équipe Challenger Les 14 mois sur place ont été intenses et riches en apprentissage, pour un collectif multiculturel fort, solidaire et engagé au service d’un projet extraordinaire, avec un AC75 à comprendre et à dompter pour les 12 marins du squad.  Il y a certes de la déception car le résultat sportif n’est pas celui escompté, mais dans le même temps il y a de la fierté d’avoir réussi à mettre en place un socle solide pour la suite. Cette histoire a pu s’écrire grâce à l’ensemble de nos partenaires, au premier rang desquels le groupe Accor et ses marques Orient Express et ALL - Accor Live Limitless, L'Oréal, Alpine et Photomaton MeGroup. The AC75’s last sailing session a few days ago marks the end of this incredible adventure in Barcelona for the Challenger squad. The last 14 months spend were intense with a vast learning process for a strong, united and committed multicultural team around an extraordinary project. The 12 sailors of the squad had a steep learning curve to get their grips on the AC75.  There is of course quite a bit of disappointment because the results were not what we hopped for, but nevertheless there is pride to have managed to put in place a solid platform for the future. La première édition de la Women’s America’s Cup s’est conclue samedi par la victoire de Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. Félicitations ! 🤝 Nouvelle compétition créée pour la 37e America’s Cup, cette Women’s America’s Cup a permis de former plus de 60 femmes à la navigation sur ces bateaux à la pointe de la technologie, ce qui ouvre de magnifiques perspectives pour ce sport que nous aimons tant 💪 Elles étaient 4 à bord de l’AC40, mais c’est l’ensemble de l’équipe qui était mobilisé derrière les femmes d’Orient Express - L'Oréal Racing Team. Une mobilisation qui serait impossible sans le soutien de nos partenaires, au premier rang desquels Orient Express et L’Oréal, partenaires titres, mais aussi Alpine, Photomaton, NextWorld, l’ENVSN, Team France, la FFVoile et l’ensemble des acteurs mobilisés pour ce formidable projet. The first edition of the #WomensAmericasCup finished on Saturday with Luna Rossa’s win. Congrats!  A new event created for the 37th America's Cup, this Women’s America’s Cup allowed over 60 women to train on this super high-tech boat, opening up amazing possibilities for this sport we love so much.  They were 4 on board the AC40, but the entire team rallied around the women of Orient Express - L’Oréal Racing Team. C’est donc la fin de la première édition de la Woman’s America’s Cup pour Orient Express - L'Oréal Racing Team. Assurément le résultat sportif n’est pas au rendez-vous. « On n’a pas réussi à transformer l’essai et à retrouver les automatismes travaillés cet été. Merci à mes co-équipières Audrey Ogereau, Aloïse RETORNAZ, Pauline Courtois et Amélie riou. Maintenant, il va nous falloir digérer tout ça et analyser nos courses ! » témoignait Manon Audinet, skipper des Women. The first edition of the #WomensAmericasCup comes to an end for the French team. Undoubtably the results aren’t what the team was aiming for. « We didn’t manage to take the opportunities and fond the automatisms that we’d set up this summer. Il n’y a eu qu’une seule course pour le Groupe A ce vendredi faute de temps, course pendant laquelle l’AC40 français a rencontré un soucis technique.  C’est donc la fin de la Women’s America’s Cup pour l’équipe féminine tricolore. There was only one race for Group A this Friday due to lack of time, race during which the French AC40 faced a technical issue. This marks the end of the #WomensAmericasCup for the French team. #OERT #AC37 #AmericasCup

🎙️ Le résumé de ce jeudi par Manon Audinet : « La journée a été difficile dans des conditions marginales avec peu de vent et beaucoup de mer. Nous n'avons pas trouvé notre rythme. Il y a eu pas mal de stop and go sur cette course. Ensuite, nous avons attendu pas mal sur l'eau dans l'espoir d'avoir du thermique qui n'est jamais arrivé. Une journée et une course à oublier mais nous repartirons demain avec la patate dans des conditions différentes. On reste au taquet ! » The day summed up by the skipper: « Today was difficult in marginal conditions with light winds and big swells. You didn’t find our rhythm. There were quite a lot of touch-and-go during the race. After that, we waited a long time on the race course hoping for breeze that never showed.
