Titleist Certification Achievement | Celebrating Thomas Garavito, P.T.A. We are pleased to announce that Thomas Garavito, P.T.A., from our Murrells Inlet Therapy office, has successfully earned his Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Certification this July. As we observe National Golf Month this August, it's an excellent time to acknowledge this significant accomplishment. 🌟 HAPPY RETIREMENT, DR. PARKER! 🌟 | Last week, we celebrated Dr. Stephen Parker’s retirement on his last day seeing patients at OrthoSC. We had a wonderful time sharing special memories and enjoying a delicious cake together. After caring for patients in pain for over 30 years and serving as a dedicated specialist at OrthoSC since 2011, we are grateful for his contributions to world-class care. AT PROFESSIONALS DAY SEMINAR | OrthoSC and Horry County Schools had a wonderful time at the Athletic Trainers Professional Day seminar, where Dr. Thomas Chambers and Dr. Todd Tupis presented on management of patellofemoral pain and ACL injuries. They not only explored these relevant topics from a broad perspective of new innovations, but they also delved into specific cases that fostered a learning environment. Throughout the process, we bonded as a community of athletic trainers and had a great time doing it! #StrongerTogether

RELATIENT® BINDER CHALLENGE | We are excited to be participating in the Relatient Binder Challenge! Before Relatient's scheduling platform Dash®, we had multiple pages of notes for each provider. Here’s what some of our staff had to say about how Dash has streamlined our process: ·        Dash makes my job easier because it is quick, user-friendly, and saves us from scheduling with wrong providers! It's very simple to use, and I couldn't imagine using any other tool for scheduling ·        I enjoy using Dash, and it makes scheduling patients easy since it will direct you to which provider you should schedule a patient with. ·        I love how Dash separates the a.m. from the p.m. times. It saves me time scrolling to find afternoon appointments. And I love how the doctors' protocols are on the side to help when scheduling. ·        Very user-friendly. Love how it categorizes the physicians automatically by body part and takes away the worry of scheduling with the wrong provider. Makes scheduling appointments quicker and easier. ·        Dash makes my job easier by being quick and easy to use and read. It is an asset to helping our patients be scheduled with less room for error. We are thankful to have made the switch to Dash, and we are now able to work more efficiently with little to no room for error! #RelatientBinderChallenge #StrongerTogether

“PUB” NIGHT ACTIVITIES | We had another successful Therapy "Pub" night recently and had an amazing time! In our continuous pursuit of growth and improvement, OrthoSC therapists make the time to come together after hours to discuss a clinical publication or innovative technique while unwinding with some pub-style beverages. This quarter's event challenged us to think outside of the box to enhance our treatment techniques.
