BTW, this was cleaned on the ORYX ADDITIVE scaWaterjet system. Even with the small features, it came out ready to go to the show with no breakage or damage.
Even after all these years, I still get giddy sometimes when I get a new 3-D print. This was a little sample model I made for the upcoming Vertical Flight Society 2024 Transformative Vertical Flight conference. I thought, why not print the results? So cool. The model was done in Ansys Mechanical, translated to a WRL file with PyAnsys, and printed on a Stratasys PolyJet system. This is a close-up right out of the machine, still wet from being washed on the ORYX ADDITIVE scaWaterjet system. Even with the small features, it came out ready to go to the show with no breakage or damage. #3dprinting Ansys #ansysmechanical #pyansys
