It occurred to me that perhaps instead of complaining I should shout out "good folks" that do "sales" the "right" way. Some of these guys are CEOs, some are founders, some are salesfolks at big companies, some are customer support or care... Not an exhaustive list, but here are a few folks doing it "right" in my experience, after over 20 years in the construction industry, and nearly 15 off and on in "contech". William Harryman, Nick Ward & Michael McInnis with Procore Technologies Will was our OG Procore salesdood, and all around great guy. He's the one that got us started. Nick came before Mike came back. Did more to help us out than our SPC at the time, great guy, no pressure, super helpful. Mike is our current salesdood, and before Nick, who takes care of us, helps us out, gets us what we need. no pressure (we ARE renewing this year so... don't taze me bro!) Jamey Dempsey Our IMAGINiT Technologies salesdood for ages. Amazing at what he does. Builds the relationship, helps you out when you need it, offers products that he thinks are a good fit (BTW Autodesk, when you are done killing the resellers, this is the kind of relationship you're destroying). I think Jamey has moved on, but still a great guy. Keavin Milburn, MBA TM @ ENGworks Global again, checks in from time to time to see what we need, follows up on previous proposals, helps when there are issues... great guy, great relationship. Barry Chiu Kroo Newer friend of ours, just getting to know one another, but really enjoying the interaction so far. It's not "salesy" it's learning from one another and trying to improve and see where we can work together. Liam Floyd from Quickbase Also a newer relationship, replaced our original sales guy that sold us the product, hasn't earned a dime in commission off of us himself yet, and still amazingly helpful and accommodating. Along with Myung Kim who has been great to work with on the customer success side. Brian Vizarreta, Matt D., Philip Lorenzo, Von Lewis, Taylor Moody All the STructionsite/DroneDeploy guys. Known some of them a long time, others less so but great relationship, loads of help, very low pressure. Brett Dufford with Voyage Control Keeps me in the loop as he reaches out to our job site teams, asks for assistance on who and when to talk to, trying hard to get us on an enterprise deal but not overly-aggressive with it. Tyler Morgan with Extracts Pro Keeps entertaining our requesters, keeps on teaching us and updating us. We aren't customers yet, but guys like him make me want for us to be. Caleb Taylor co-founder at Buildr Much like Tyler, hasn't gotten us on board yet but keeps showing up and helping us learn the latest and greatest. Hopefully one day we'll be customers! Collin Creach at Outbuild Dude is everywhere! and he's definitely hot to get Outbuild out there! Started out a little hot and heavy after he came onboard there but I think we're good now!

A good plan and schedule are critical for success. Recently I started experimenting with Outbuild, and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. This is the most impressive construction scheduling software I've ever seen.
