Imagine a world where healthcare is empowering, it's transformative and it's people-centered for both care teams and patients. Imagine no more. It is here and it is Ovatient. Ovatient was founded by The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, OH) and MUSC Health to unlock new opportunities in virtual care that are built around our patients. We are a catalyst for health systems in creating access to care that improves health outcomes, reduces costs, more deeply engages patients in their communities, and empowers patients in their own care. We believe everyone should have access to high-quality, affordable care, no matter where they are. Our solution is built on Epic and MyChart, and our care model is virtual-first. We are connected to the health system and clinics patients trust for their care, offering patients best-in-class virtual care that mirrors best-in-class in-person care. Hear more about our approach from Ovatient CEO Michael Dalton and our board chair Cory Robinson, PhD, MHA, PMP, FACHE. And join us at www.ovatient.com.

Ovatient offers comprehensive virtual primary and urgent care, connected to your care team.
About us
Ovatient is a virtual-first healthcare company that puts a person – not just a patient – at the center of how they receive care and improve their health. Ovatient’s team of dedicated virtual providers and care team members work closely with our health system partners to provide patients with connected, coordinated and convenient virtual care. The name Ovatient is a testament to our commitment—it’s a fusion of ‘Ovation-worthy’ and ‘Patient-centered care‘, symbolizing the celebration of patient-centered excellence we strive for in everything we do. What We Offer Ovatient offers comprehensive virtual primary and urgent care that is covered by your insurance or you can pay no more than $65. Through Ovatient, you can get care wherever you are in Ohio, including at home, at work or on the go. When you need to be seen in person, Ovatient will help connect you to an appointment. What makes Ovatient different from similar services is that your care journey is connected to our health system partners. That includes your MyChart, medical record and notes from providers. You can go from virtual to in-person appointments with confidence that your care will be tailored to your needs. Our History Ovatient was formed through a partnership between the MetroHealth System and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) in October 2022. It is led by CEO Michael Dalton and a team of dedicated virtual care professionals and business leaders. Want to know more? Contact us.

We just broke a record! On Monday, we cared for 115 patients in one day. For those counting, that totals more than 4,200 patients we have cared for since we launched with The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, OH) just three months ago. What do we attribute to our success? Our care team. To put it simply, they are beyond passionate for the work they do and the patients they serve. Every day, our team makes it look easy as they deliver high-quality and convenient virtual care for our patients. They are the reason why our patients feel heard, seen and cared for – and keep coming back. We also can thank our founders. As our board member Nabil Chehade said in a Becker's Healthcare article published yesterday, MetroHealth and MUSC Health working together to create Ovatient was truly "a match made in heaven." We are built by health systems, for health systems. And we're just getting started. https://lnkd.in/gZFgEKkK

Why should your health system partner with Ovatient? Our board chair Cory Robinson, PhD, MHA, PMP, FACHE shares his perspective. Ovatient was built for health systems, by health systems. At our core is an innovative virtual-first care model that prioritizes building long-lasting relationships with patients. Our virtual care providers deliver comprehensive, affordable, and convenient virtual primary care, virtual urgent care and soon mental health. Rather than competing with traditional sites of care, we provide health systems with a turnkey solution to expand their care into the virtual and digital health space. Because our platform is built on Epic and MyChart, we enable seamless integration of care coordination, quality measurement, medical records and patient billing. As we observe Juneteenth, I am reminded of the profound significance this day holds in our nation's history. Juneteenth not only marks the end of slavery in the United States but also recognizes the enduring fight for freedom, justice, and equity. In the workplace, it is crucial that we recognize the injustices that have persisted for far too long. These inequities remind us of the work still needed to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected - a place where we all feel that we belong. We have made commendable strides towards progress. Today, more than ever, we see organizations committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. However, our journey is far from over. The triumphs of the past and the clarion call of 2020 inspire us to push forward with renewed vigor and determination. We must continue to challenge systemic barriers, celebrate the unique contributions of each individual, and seek out diversity in all dimensions as a force multiplier for greatness. On this Juneteenth, let us honor the resilience and courage of those who fought for freedom and justice. Together, we can create a future where equality is not just an ideal but a reality for all. #Juneteenth #Equity #Diversity #Inclusion #Progress #WorkplaceInclusion

There has been much debate recently about the future of virtual care. Baseball fan and Ovatient CEO Michael Dalton says we're only in the early innings. "Buckle up, as we have a 162-game season ahead of us." In a blog post, he shares what patients really want and what health systems and provider organizations really need. And while the care we provide is virtual, that doesn’t mean it isn’t personal. Check out this must-read 📑
As we reflect as an industry on where digital health and virtual care go from here, I believe our focus should remain on what virtual care has always been about: a singular emphasis on achieving better health outcomes for our patients. We do this by connecting patients to care when they need it and how they need it, bringing patients, health systems and traditional sites of care closer together across both distance and time. Read more as I explore what patients want and health systems need for virtual care to fulfill its promise and how Ovatient looks to realize that vision.
