We are excited to announce that Ovation In-Store has recycled 8,000 pounds (4 tons) of #acrylic plastics since March! With our circular recycling program, we are turning waste into opportunity. All of our acrylic scraps from production are recycled, turned into new material, and used on our upcoming projects, possible through a partnership with our recycler. Happy Earth Day to all of our valued clients and followers! We wish you a happy and eco-friendly Earth Day filled with appreciation for our planet. Today, on Earth Day, we celebrate our ongoing commitment to environmental justice and climate transition. At Ovation In-Store, every day is an opportunity to make a difference. Over the past year, we have made tremendous strides toward building a greener organization. - Reduction of virgin plastics, with 30% in procurement of post-industrial and post-consumer recycled materials. - Featured in Supplier Leadership on Climate 2024 Impact Report. Science-based Target approved: committing to reducing our scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030. - Switched to using certified compostable poly-bags for 20% of all client shipments. - Upgrading our solar panel system to a larger inverter to pull and hold an average of 100k more energy. - Created an abatement plan to reduce our energy footprint at our New York City headquarters. During the 1st quarter of 2024, we successfully managed to conserve a significant amount of energy. We saved 44,500 kWh of electricity and 8,000 therms of natural gas, equivalent to 62 metric tons of avoided CO2e emissions. Ovation has recycled a total of 6,600 pounds of post-consumer acrylic material this month. We are pleased to share our Q1 updates and look forward to continuing our efforts to maintain sustainable practices within our organization. We are excited to share our complete overhaul design for Nutrafol at SEPHORA. Our team has worked diligently to create a new presence that aesthetically represents the prestige level of the Nutrafol brand while providing a fully functioning system that can change with seasonal updates. Frosted green product glorifiers and graphic wedges with interchangeable graphics speak to the wide selection of supplements and hair care products throughout the display giving the consumer an easy-to-navigate shopping experience. In addition to the aesthetic and functional updates, we are constantly keeping sustainability in mind and finding ways to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible. For this display, we used certified compostable poly bags to pack the components combined with post-consumer recycled paper bubble packaging.
