  • Thermafiber® has been innovating fire safety and building solutions for over 90 years. Our technical expertise has helped us develop safety systems like Owens Corning® Thermafiber® Perimeter Fire Containment Systems, which keep fire contained to the room of origin — allowing the people inside more time to get out, and firefighters more time to get in. Learn why Thermafiber® insulation is the first and only mineral wool to earn the Department of Homeland Security’s Safety Act designation here: https://bit.ly/4hY7M9i #OwensCorning #Innovation #Insulation #ThermaFiber #FireSafety

  • 🌟 Celebrating Black History Month at Owens Corning 🌟 Meet a few of our very talented team members and read why this time is so important — and how we can grow together through our different experiences. Ronne, our Benefits Specialist, was born in Detroit (Go Blue!) and currently resides near World Headquarters in Toledo with her family. She believes engaging with and celebrating Black History Month (and beyond) contributes to creating an inclusive and equitable society. Luc, our Insulation Supply Leader, was also born in Detroit — and even walked the same halls as Diana Ross and David Alan Greer at Cass Technical High School! He uses this month to educate himself through documentaries, books, or local events. He’s currently reading “Black Detroit” by Herb Boyd. Jerome, our Director of Stable Operations for the Roofing Business, was born and raised in Indiana. It was common for him to be the only black person in his academic or social settings and was often asked questions as if he was a representative of the black experience. Jajuana, our Sr. HR Associate, grew up in Savannah, GA, and is a legacy HBCU graduate student of Savannah State University (10 family members have degrees from SSU!) — and she’s currently collaborating at the Savannah Roofing Plant. She says “celebrating should not be limited to February, yet this gives us an opportunity to learn more about our history and accomplishments, and revisit things that bring us joy.” Thank you all for your contributions, talents, and sharing your perspectives with us! #WeAreOwensCorning #BlackHistoryMonth #BuildingTogether
