As part of the MLB Play Ball initiative, we hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the renovated field, followed by a skills camp for the Miracle League & Challenger League players. Project Spotlight! The Tasharuk Program: The Solar Hybrid Power System! This facility utilizes off-the-grid solar energy for Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) production wells in Oxy's Oman operations, located in remote desert areas. Our solar hybrid power system, a first in Oman's oil and gas fields, powers wells with solar energy during the day and generators at night. The solar hybrid power system runs for ~6 hours daily and generates 60KW per well. This project helps support local businesses and reduce emissions, reflecting a major milestone in regional sustainability. #TasharukProgram #Sustainability #SolarHybridPower #OmanEnergy 💡

Oxy's Diversity Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) team hosted an amazing celebration at multiple Oxy locations to honor Juneteenth — marking the end of slavery in Texas, June 19th, 1865. Oxy teams came together to learn about the day's history and to celebrate community!

A great profile on NET Power CEO Danny Rice! NET Power's technology uses natural gas to create clean, reliable, dispatchable electricity. Their first commercial scale plant is planned for the Texas Permian Basin where Oxy plans to use power from the facility for its Permian operations and future Direct Air Capture sites.
