Who said wine and the workplace don't mix? 🍷 Maddie and Gia stopped by Apericena for a late-summer photoshoot. Although they were there for work, you should stop by for a little self care. 💆♀️

Most people see a rock covered in water, mud and even some fish guts. Us? We see something different. That's because we know it took gusto, guts and a little bit of loose screw to be the first person to look at a raw oyster and say “Yea, I’ll eat that.” We believe it takes those same guts to bring a great idea to life. That’s what we do at Oyster Creative Co. We help create, find, harvest and bring ideas from the muck to the main table.

Congratulations to a huge part of our Oyster Crew, Jenna Lo Castro, Ph.D., on earning tenure! 👏 Nobody is more deserving of this than Jenna, and Point Park University is lucky to have her.
What a ride! I am thrilled to share that I've been promoted and granted tenure as an Associate Professor. It's been a long journey to reach this milestone, but I'm proud of all the hard work, grit and dedication it's taken to get me here. I could not have achieved this without the support of my colleagues in the School of Communication at Point Park University and Oyster Creative Co., mentors, friends and family. A huge shoutout and thanks to this community of incredible people. 👏
Shuckers on site! 🦪 📸 Meghan McGinnis took a trip to Vandergrift, PA to help capture social content for ATI.
A big congratulations to former member of Crew, Courtney (Schikora) 🎉 Can’t wait to see what you’ll do next!

“if I had more time I would love to do…” How many times have we said that? At the beginning of 2023, I found myself at a crossroads trying to determine what was next. After years of working very hard, I needed to recharge my battery and reconnect with my family….I finally had time to do something new. Enter University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, their MBA program, 13 terrific people, a host of very challenging professors and subjects. After 19 months, this Saturday, we did it - we completed our program and earned our MBAs, alongside starting new businesses, pursuing new career paths, raising children and generally living life. At the very beginning one of our professors said “you’ll learn as much from each other as you learn from the professors, more even.” And she was right. The EMBA 49 cohort was filled with exceptionally talented, wise and caring people who never ceased to amaze. And now, what’s next?
Happy #nationalinternday from Oyster's very own Social Media Interns 🦪 It's no easy feat being the coolest, trendiest, and youngest members of the Crew, but we've had so much fun wearing multiple different hats and learning a thing or two about utility design software (IYKYK). We're so excited to see where the rest of the summer takes us! -Anna Wiggins & Gabriella Palmer

Not to steal Forrest's mom's quote but with interns? You never know what you're going to get. Well, this year we got the doubly sweet treat of working with Gabriella Palmer and Anna Wiggins. Gabby is a 2024 graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and has been coming up killer ideas that she's presented directly to our clients. And nervousness be damned they bought 'em! Anna joined us this summer after finishing her degree at Penn State University. She's given us another stellar writer with the ability to develop strategic pitch angles AND creative copy. Their internship comes to an end next month, so on #NationalInternDay we wanted to give them a very heartfelt thanks. We'd love if you'd help them out by sharing, commenting or giving a little ole like to make sure their names reach some hiring eyeballs.
Apparently, there's a pickle festival going on this weekend? 🥒 In honor of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership's annual Picklesburgh, we're throwin' it back to when we helped increase Pittsburgh Pickle's brand awareness through a social teaser campaign, blind taste tests, and a love letter with 1,300+ signatures. #TBT Our solution helped the brand get thousands of new tastes and start a not-so-dill conversation with Primanti Brothers. We're proud to play a part in sharing Downward Dog with the world (well, 5 million people...which is a lot) 🐶
We released the Downward Dog web series last week on Instagram and it went fricken viral. Over 5 million views in a week and still going. It's insane. And then somebody wrote this today: https://lnkd.in/eStEaWSN
