The Shorewood-Troy Library invited our alumni driver Dan Brand to be a part of their SuperHero Storytime Series, where they highlight community members who make a positive difference. They have invited a special guest reader once per week to give local children and their families a chance to meet a local SuperHero, learn about what they do, and ask questions. The library received multiple requests to have a heavy machinery operator as a guest Hero! This is the first and only special request they had from patrons and we were absolutely honored to show up for the community in this way. Dan read the kids our very own book, Spinning, Spinning, Spinning, answered questions about what it’s like to drive a concrete truck and let the kids climb inside. Thank you to Shorewood-Troy Library, Dan for reading to the kids and all the community members who took part. We absolutely love this part of the job🤍❤️ #community #concretetruck #library #construction #heavymachinery

Li’l Abner Foundation Disney on Wheels 2025!! What an incredible, rewarding, and enriching weekend! Muhammad Ali once said, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” This weekend, the Li’l Abner Foundation and its sponsors brought that sentiment to life, making dreams come true for 74 physically fragile children and their parents or caregivers. Our volunteers were nothing short of amazing—showing compassion, care, and love to every child and parent. Being part of this event is not only humbling but also deeply fulfilling. It offers a profound sense of connection, as you witness firsthand the impact of kindness while gaining greater empathy and understanding for individuals with different abilities. I decided to share a few pictures of the event. Next year our goal is to touch the lives of 100 families and we are always looking for support!!! A heartfelt thank you to the Ozinga Foundation for being a major sponsor and for making a positive impact in our communities.

Introducing: our Mission Critical team 🙌

    View profile for Marty Ozinga

CEO at Ozinga | 5th-Generation American 🇺🇸 Family Enterprise - 100 Years in 2028 | Net Zero Carbon Neutral Concrete by 2030

Next week Ozinga will turn 97 years old. Guided by our values of service, learning and entrepreneurship, Ozinga has a multi-generational legacy of responding to emerging trends in the marketplace. It’s one of the key reasons we have sustained as a business for almost 100 years. At Ozinga, our purpose has always been bigger than the business —it’s about making a positive impact on individuals, families and communities that will last for generations to come. Consistent with our values and purpose, I am very excited to announce the establishment of the Ozinga Mission Critical team, a specialized team dedicated to serving customers with sustainable, high-performance concrete solutions for data centers and large-scale infrastructure across North America. The explosive growth of artificial intelligence is fueling an unprecedented demand for computing power, driving an estimated $1.8 trillion in data center construction over the next five years. At the same time, hyperscale data center owners have made bold net-zero commitments, including Scope 3 emissions reductions—and low-carbon concrete is one of the fastest, most impactful ways to lower their embodied carbon footprint. However, many large-scale data center developments are being built in regions lacking the expertise and infrastructure needed to meet aggressive schedules while achieving meaningful carbon reduction targets. That’s where the Ozinga Mission Critical team comes in. As a national leader in low-carbon concrete solutions, we help developers and contractors cut embodied carbon while maintaining world-class durability and performance through CarbonSense®, our low-carbon solutions product line. Leading this effort are two industry veterans: Ryan Cialdella - Chief Mission Critical & Decarbonization Officer Paul Winkle - EVP of Mission Critical & Strategic Partnerships With over 50 years of combined experience at Ozinga, Ryan and Paul bring the deep expertise needed to solve the industry’s toughest challenges and deliver concrete solutions as resilient as the infrastructure they support. The Ozinga Mission Critical team is more than just a concrete supplier—it’s a strategic partner. We work with owners and contractors from project inception to final delivery, ensuring on-time, on-spec execution for even the most complex, large-scale builds anywhere in North America. The Ozinga Mission Critical team can provide: ✅ Expert consultation on emerging low carbon concrete technologies ✅ Assistance facilitating Ozinga’s CarbonSense® technology with local ready mix suppliers ✅ Fully integrated mobile concrete operations on-site The Ozinga Mission Critical team ensures you have the right solutions, in the right place, at the right time. ➡️ Learn more about Ozinga Mission Critical: https://lnkd.in/gc5mK6fk #MissionCritical #DataCenters #AIInfrastructure #Sustainability #LowCarbonConcrete #ConstructionLeadership #EmbodiedCarbon

Henry, our North Chicago yard’s #1 fan, took his Ozinga enthusiasm to Florida! While visiting Miami with his family, he wanted to stop by one of our yards. A big thank you to Eddie Williams, who helped arrange a visit to our 17th Avenue yard! Always good to see you Henry, thanks for taking the time to visit on your vacation ☀️🌴
