As the state primary care association, the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC) represents and supports the largest network of primary health care providers in the Commonwealth. Our network of health centers includes Community Health Centers (FQHCs), FQHC Look-Alikes, Rural Health Clinics and other like-mission providers serving more than 600,000 people at more than 200 sites in underserved areas throughout the Commonwealth. Established in 1981 as a private non-profit organization, PACHC was formed by and for community health center programs. PACHC programs and services are designed to strengthen, promote and grow health centers in today's complex and constantly changing health care environment as well as support Community Health Centers (FQHCs) in their mission to provide quality primary care to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Behavioral Health Suicide Prevention Training On Nov. 15 at 11:00 am, PACHC will host a webinar that will provide specific training and information geared for behavioral health providers practicing in primary care settings. Many behavioral health providers have never received training on how to identify, assess, and care for patients at risk for suicide as part of their professional training. This training will focus on evidence-based interventions and techniques for assessing risk, restricting access to lethal means, and safety planning. Suicide rates are increasing in communities across the country, and the ability for behavioral health providers to care for them will help in reducing stress among behavioral health providers and suicide rates nationally. This training is free to members and $50 for non-members. Link to register in comments!

The organization consists of well-established community-based practices and programs that were previously under the umbrella of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). Veronica has over sixteen years of healthcare administration experience with expertise in process improvement, leadership, fiscal responsibility, & community-based program management. In her current role as Chief Executive Officer, Veronica closely collaborates with the Board of Directors to establish long-term strategic goals to effectively deliver high quality healthcare to Valley Health Partners’ patient population. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Muhlenberg College School of Continuing Studies, master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in health care management systems from DeSales University. She has completed a Fellowship in Collective Impact and is currently Lean Certified.
