Hands down, Sunday 4:30-8:30p is the single best window for driving engagement from a well-crafted personalized outreach campaign, hands down. Until of course everyone starts doing it, at which point it will become the single best way to get flagged sent to spam hell 😂
Our awesome lead product designer (Collin Olan) was asking me some questions about things I do or don't do in sales and why, and it got me thinking that SO much of our beliefs about "what works" in sales is derived from gut-instincts (almost superstitions). For example, I only send cold emails Mondays to Thursdays. Two reasons: 1. I reserve Fridays for going heads down on positioning, playbooks, trying new tools, prospecting, moving opps along, creative strategizing for target accounts, planning out the week ahead 2. I don't think you get people in the best frame of mind to think about new software when they're at the end of a long week (and I'm putting more time between my sequence steps that are already suuuuper short) But I'd be willing to bet that some of you have equally strong opinions about how Fridays are the BEST days for cold outbound, and you have no luck with Mondays. In sales, it's difficult to derive answers from data. Your email results are going to be different from mine because your prospecting motion, audience segmentation, volume, consistency, copy, and deliverability are different from mine. It's tough to say is "best" when there are SO many variables at play. I'm super curious though — what sort of quirky, gut-instinct rules do you follow in your own sales process? Or if you want to share a funny one you've seen...even better 😂

📬 We're looking for our next batch of 2-3 clients for engagements! TL;DR - We set startups up to grow, setting up data infra and then sales and marketing tooling in an optimal way for early-stage companies. We can run campaigns as well, but generally find that our highest value-add is in setup/implementation and then coaching/advising a team member on campaign execution. If you or someone you know needs some guidance, please check out www.pacaya.io for more details. If not, no worries, and would appreciate a repost to help get the word out! Thank you and happy new year! 🎆 #analytics #data #growth #marketing #email #automation #advertising #seo #development #leadgeneration #conversionrateoptimization
