National Taco Day, celebrated on October 4th, is the one day a year where it's socially acceptable to eat 10 tacos and call it "festive." Whether you're a soft-shell supporter or hard-shell enthusiast, it's a day to celebrate the glorious tortilla and its magical ability to hold all your favorite fillings—until it inevitably falls apart in your hands. But hey, that’s just part of the taco experience, right? So, grab your salsa or favorite hot sauce, brace for the inevitable spill, and prepare to taco ‘bout it all day long! We at Pacific Farms® say, “Enjoy the day and don’t forget to spice it up a bit!”.

National Onion Day, observed on this day, celebrates the ubiquitous vegetable that adds flavor and depth to countless dishes worldwide. Onions have this incredible talent for making people tear up, almost like they're sharing the latest gossip with your eyes! And let's not forget their ability to add layers to any dish - literally and figuratively! They're like the OG of the culinary world, making everything from salads to stews taste magically delicious. And don't even get me started on their shape – they're like the quirky misfits of the vegetable world, with their irregular orbs and papery skin, but hey, they're delicious, so who cares if they're a little odd-looking? Here’s to all the flavor and texture onions bring us!
