Kicking off HotelSpaces with big hugs from two pioneers in hospitality - Kenzie Vath and Daniel del Olmo - who are part of the genesis story for Procure Impact. Pacific Hospitality Group + Sage Hospitality Group were the very first companies to say yes to partnering with us - when Procure Impact was just an idea and long before we had a tech platform and marketplace with thousands of life-changing products. (Thank you to Jeremy Doochin for his early encouragement and reconnecting me to Garrett Busch/PHG and to Rakesh Chauhan for the intro to Alan Benjamin, ISHC who introduced us to Walter Isenberg and Jan Lucas at Sage. You are all important pieces that created the flywheel.) It’s easy to jump in when something is established and working. It takes courage and conviction to believe in an idea and be willing to take a leap and bet on it. I’m forever grateful to these two companies for their leadership and the movement they sparked within the hospitality sector, demonstrating that purpose and enriching lives is more than a tag line, it’s good business.

Celebrating a Milestone! 🚧🏨 Although it’s been over a month since we attended the ground breaking ceremony, we’re still energized by the excitement of that day! As part of the design team for this incredible hotel project in downtown Phoenix, we were honored to join the celebration. Our team has worked diligently to create spaces that capture the essence of Phoenix’s unique lifestyle and environment, including the inviting dining and beverage areas, a welcoming lobby inspired by the warmth and elegance of the desert, and a tranquil spa on the second floor designed to be a peaceful retreat. It was amazing to celebrate alongside the ownership group & development team, including Pacific Hospitality Group, BERGER HOLDINGS, @Sunbelt Holdings, and Mortenson, as well as key figures like the Mayor of Phoenix Kate Gallego, during such an important moment for the project! We’re excited and proud of the progress we’ve made. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to bring this vision to life! Here’s to the future of Phoenix hospitality! 🌵🏙️ Pacific Hospitality Group, Mortenson, Gensler, Stylo Haus, City of Phoenix, Darryl Berger, Pouya Honari, Barry Nidiffer, George Forristall, Garrett Busch, Charlotte Einar, Kenzie Vath, Timothy R. When you set bold, ambitious, goals in front of bold, ambitious, passionate, and tireless leaders, you change the game. You shift systems. You challenge mindsets. You spark movements. In February, Procure Impact launched the Dignity of Work Pledge, a major campaign with the American Hotel & Lodging Association to galvanize the hospitality sector towards responsible sourcing. Today, we just announced a major milestone - 23 hospitality companies have pledged over $7.4 million in purchases to reach the Dignity of Work Pledge goal of 100,000 hours of paid employment for people who face barriers to work. Press release: https://lnkd.in/ekMTX2NR By choosing to source responsibly through our platform, our partners will provide millions in revenue for businesses employing vulnerable and marginalized populations in the United States. The idea for this campaign originally came during a cab ride with Laura DeFrancesco Ross ('LDR') in New York after the Forbes Sustainability Summit when our company was just getting started. We were brainstorming how we could measure social impact through our future marketplace and came up with the initial framework for our "shift hours" calculation and the idea of a big bold goal. But ideas come and go, and this one sat on the shelf for a while. Then a year ago, Jennifer Collins approached AHLA about the concept and began to plant the idea with hospitality executives. For months, she worked tirelessly to align stakeholders and solidify the plan, and eight hospitality companies jumped on board as founding partners. Those eight partners - Atrium Hospitality, CoralTree Hospitality, Davidson Hospitality Group, Modus by PM Hotel Group, Pacific Hospitality Group, Pyramid Global Hospitality, Sage Hospitality Group, and 21c Museum Hotels - started the flywheel which will have an untold impact on countless lives. Jen's leadership made this campaign possible. She led launch calls and zig zagged across the country at conferences and meetings to share our story and her heart to thousands of people. She inspired the groundswell and momentum which will forever change the way that hospitality does business. I'm forever grateful for her leadership and partnership and I am thankful to our entire team who brought this vision to life. Now, we have an even bigger goal that we just announced - challenging corporate America to follow the lead of the hospitality sector by creating 1,000,000 hours of work by 2030 through responsible sourcing. I have no doubt we will get there with this bold, ambitious, and life-changing team. We are just getting started. 🚀
