About us

The Pacific Seed Association is a western regional, non-profit organization of recognized individuals, firms and corporations actively connected with the seed industry and its allied branches. Member companies are located in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Mexico and Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Since its origin in 1926, PSA has been dedicated to the development of a strong, friendly unity among its members in a cooperative effort to perfect a high standard of business integrity and to disseminate industry news and information of general interest to its members. The Pacific Seed Association serves the interest of agriculture by improving friendly business relations between members of the seed trade, seed producers, and seed consumers and cooperates with educational and regulatory authorities , and other interested agencies in the development of a sound and effective seed program. Cooperation with members and committees of respective legislatures, administrative officials, members of executive branches and agencies of federal and state governments is needed to protect the interests of member firms. To provide educational, networking and recreational opportunities to all parties interested in the seed industry at the PSA Annual Convention and at other PSA functions.
