On October 6, 2024, PSC held its 22nd Annual Golf Tournament at the Manteca Golf Course, bringing together team members from all our locations for a day of fun and friendly competition. With best ball at play, the winning team achieved a miraculous score! After the tournament, everyone enjoyed a delicious catered buffet lunch, where awards for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin were presented to both men and women, and cash prizes were awarded to the top three teams. A fantastic day was had by all, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event! #TeamPSC #Teamwork

Team Member Tuesday: Introducing Johnny Haynes! Johnny Haynes joined PSC in December 2018, initially working at our Riverside facility as a Feeder. He then progressed to operating the Aerator and later became a forklift driver at our Leckron location. His career took a technical turn when he completed an electrical technical course at San Joaquin Valley College, leading to his current role in the maintenance department, where he serves as a Corrugator Maintenance Level 3 on the Pitman A day shift. In his current role, Johnny enjoys the hands-on aspect of pushing his toolbox around and fixing machinery. He finds satisfaction in troubleshooting and repairing downed machines, balancing between proactive maintenance and urgent repairs. He emphasizes the importance of prioritization, as machine breakdowns can shift priorities quickly. Johnny thrives on the challenge and fulfillment of getting a machine running smoothly again. Outside of work, Johnny has a rich background, including a decade of service in the Army. He is a dedicated father of three, actively participating in his kids’ sports activities and even coaching his son's flag football team. Johnny enjoys playing video games and going on runs with his kids while always striving to instill the value of teamwork in them. His personal and professional life is guided by the motto, "teamwork makes the dream work," highlighting the importance of collaboration and idea-sharing to achieve success. #TeamMemberTuesday #TeamPSC

For the second year in a row, Team PSC participated in and sponsored the Fresno and Modesto Out of the Darkness Community Walks. These annual events, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, bring communities together to remember those we've lost to suicide and to support one another. While we walked to honor lives lost, we also proudly raised awareness for mental health. The day was filled with compassion, unity, and a shared commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health challenges. At PSC, one of our core values is what we call “360-degree health”. This includes safety, physical health, and mental health. #OutOfTheDarkness #AFSP #MentalHealthAwareness #TeamPSC

Happy International Manufacturing Day! PSC celebrated by hosting a special event for Ceres High School students from the Manufacturing, Production, and Green Technology (MPGT) Academy. The morning was packed with plant tours, presentations from our team members, and a hands-on POP display building contest. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about PSC, explore the packaging industry, and see firsthand what a career in manufacturing could look like. We were proud to partner with the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation to bring this event to life. Our aim was to inspire the next generation by showcasing the innovative work we do and the various career paths available in our field. A big thank you to all the students and educators who participated—we hope you left feeling inspired and eager to explore the future of manufacturing! #MFGDay24 #InternationalManufacturingDay #TeamPSC #Packaging
