Here’s a peek behind the scenes at Pactum, courtesy of a new report in EuroNews. We’d like to add that Kaspar Korjus has long since converted his father into being a fan of autonomous negotiations! That office will be quieter this week as Kaspar and members of our team will be at DPW Amsterdam where autonomous negotiations will be a hot topic. Reach out to us if you are there too. There’s an accompanying article to that EuroNews report here, which looks at the bigger picture of AI development: https://lnkd.in/diRKpXgu

I am really looking forward to meeting many clients, prospects s well as existing and future partners at Pactum AI's booth no. 14 in Hall 2 or for example via a BrainDate DPW in #Amsterdam later this week. DPW really is one of the key places to be each year regarding open discussions on the digitalisation of procurement so I am sure this will be another valuable two days of thinking, learning and networking!

Heading to DPW Amsterdam next week? We figured you've already got enough stress balls and water bottles with random logos, but we do have a great book to give you. 'When Machines Become Customers', published by Gartner, is the most comprehensive research to date into the rise of machine buying - which includes autonomous negotiations in procurement. They call it the megatrend of AI. The book is independent analysis, but it echoes what our Fortune 500 customers are already seeing (and it mentions Pactum as an example of how this future is being created). So we bought a couple of hundred copies - and even gave one to the President of Estonia pictured here at our business leaders breakfast in New York last week. Next week, autonomous negotiations will be a hot topic at DPW Amsterdam so we'll bring the books with us. First though, don't miss 'How To Nail and Scale Autonomous Negotiations With Your Suppliers', which takes place on Thursday morning with representatives from Walmart and Bristol Myers Squibb, as well as Pactum CEO Kaspar Korjus: https://lnkd.in/dGWY-2hH. You can add it straight to your calendar from that link. As the leader in autonomous negotiations, you can find the Pactum team at stand 14 in Expo Hall 2 throughout the conference. You can also reach out to us here on LinkedIn: Dan Tunnicliffe, Florian Geserich, Fabio Herle, Michael Heeks. And we'd recommend signing up for a DPW tech safari on the future of autonomous procurement, which will include Pactum, as well as other innovative startups in this space: https://lnkd.in/d8hu6YTx The books will be available for corporate attendees at the stage session, as well as on our booth, including during the tech safari. You can reach out to our DPW coordinator Adam Rang here on LinkedIn if you'd like to reserve a copy with your name on it or if you'd like to book a meeting or demo with our CEO and the team.

Here’s a great new YouTube channel that explores the best ideas in engineering, hosted by Pactum’s Vitalii Lakusta. Vitalii is Platform Engineering Lead here at Pactum, although he created Map For Engineers as a personal project to map out engineering ideas that he can then explore with leading engineers - such as Microsoft engineering manager 🍲 Joel Mislav Kunst. This latest episode is about navigating your career in engineering. They agree that it’s more important than ever for engineers to understand the business impact of their products. They also cover topics ranging from upskilling for generative AI to the importance of transparency in the workplace. Transparency is a key part of our culture code so we’re pleased to hear they think both Pactum and Microsoft do it well. Watch on YouTube or listen wherever you get your podcasts: https://lnkd.in/dvrMgyTm Learn more about Map For Engineers here: https://lnkd.in/dk9n2kHs. And, if you’re interested in working alongside Vitalii here at Pactum as an engineer, you can check out Pactum.com/careers.

“When we train AI responsibly, we can help level the playing field and benefit previously underlooked suppliers,” explains Pactum’s Laila Dib. Laila is an Enterprise Program Manager, fluent in six languages, and passionate about how autonomous negotiations can help a wider range of suppliers grow their businesses alongside our Fortune 500 clients. Laila was speaking about autonomous negotiations with our local business community in Tallinn, alongside Adam Rang, as part of Rotermann Talks. The long discussion covered everything from the story of Pactum to the behavioral science behind autonomous negotiations, and how the user experience is being constantly improved for both buyers and suppliers. There were lots of great questions too, including about the ethics of using AI for negotiations. Laila explained examples of companies using autonomous negotiations as part of their diversity and sustainability initiatives. The AI can both collect better data about suppliers in support of this and also factor it into purchasing decisions. One client, for example, has a commitment to buy more from small businesses in its local communities. Autonomous negotiations is now being used in support of that. As ever, we also reminded the attendees that if anyone wants to help us bring the benefits of autonomous negotiations to the world, then Pactum is hiring at Pactum.com/careers.

The President of Estonia joined our latest business leaders breakfast today - where agentic AI was a hot topic. President Alar Karis has a keen interest in innovation so Martin Rand gave him a copy of ‘When Machines Become Customers’, which is published by Gartner and written by analysts Don Scheibenreif and Mark Raskino. It details how machine buying (which includes autonomous negotiations in procurement) is the megatrend of AI for which all businesses must prepare. We’ll be hosting more events like this across the US, especially for CPOs, while in Europe we are preparing for DPW. So if you’d like to meet us at an upcoming event near you, discuss the future of AI in procurement with industry peers, and get a copy of that book (if we still have some), then leave us your details at Pactum.com.
