On January 21, 2018, at two years old, Savannah Schwartz was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a deadly childhood brain and spinal cancer. Amidst a devastating and very hard battle, the Schwartz family was fortunate to learn of a funded grant at Rady Children’s Hospital that enabled her doctors to employ a targeted treatment specifically designed to attack Savvy’s tumors. Thanks to the incredible team at Rady Children’s Hospital, Savannah is now 9 years old and in remission with no evidence of disease. She rang the Survivor Bell at Padres Pedal the Cause this year after completing the 5K alongside her family. Join the Schwartz family in supporting the fight against cancer. Thank you Spring intern Paige Engel who just completed volunteering 86+ hours with Curebound since onboarding in April.
