GRAND OPENING!! Join Area 51 Fireworks for the Grand Opening of their new state of the art 85,000 square foot warehouse this Wednesday, July 17th at 9:30 AM at 1425 Lockspur Ave. in Pahrump. They will have coffee & sweet treats from Pinkbox Doughnuts, special entertainment, and will be providing tours of the facility.

We agree that the community needs better paying jobs, new business and a unified collaboration of local businesses and experts working together with the Chamber to help fulfill a key strategic objective, which is to help drive business and economic development in order for our community to become competitive. It’s time that we come together to examine our Valley’s private-sector job growth efforts and where we must go from here. A recommendation to help drive this effort was made to the Nye County Commissioners. “We believe that a Pahrump Valley Business & Economic Development Task Force provides an opportunity to create a locally-driven and collaborative vision that will help shape the community’s future,” explained Jenney Sartin, CEO of the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The benefits of a business community driven task force include identifying and helping to move the valley’s priorities forward, supporting and even building upon existing economic and business development efforts, helping direct leadership decisions and strategies, increasing engagement in the business community, and influencing where future dollars are spent and creating a locally-driven, sustainable long-term vision for the future of the Pahrump Valley and Nye County.” Link to local news coverage of recommendation: https://lnkd.in/gPubsCeP
