It was a very hot day, so the shade was definitely needed when we took part in the 'Help for Heroes' Softball Tournament and had some great all-American fun! Help for Heroes is a wonderful organization that provides mental health services for first responders and active duty military, and we appreciate all that they do! Thank you to all of our volunteer players for showing up and showing off!

Recently, we announced that Sergio, RN, Telemetry, won Clinical Employee of the Month for June! He was given many wonderful accolades which included that he is "amazing", answers all questions with a smile, works efficiently, and was a 'God send'!! Yay, Sergio! We will have games, food, and prizes, all at a very affordable price, to raise funds for the American Heart and Stroke Associations to support our Heart/Stroke Walk on November 9! Join us on Saturday, October 12, for a Movement Disorder Symposium featuring Dr. Kaveh Saremi - Movement Disorders; Dr. Tyler Carson - Deep Brain Stimulation; Bobbi Edwards, PT - Neurological Focused Physical Therapy and Jennifer Iljin - Neuro-Wellness Alliance Boxing Program. The speakers will be offering important information on movement disorders/essential tremors and featuring demonstrations for Deep Brain Stimulation for movement disorders such as Parkinson's or Dystonia. The Wellness Alliance Boxing Program will be offering demonstrations that help improve symptoms of Parkinson's. The boxing program's exercises are based on boxing and focuses on agility, speed, endurance and accuracy.
