Yesterday we held the PMAA Region 4 Fall Meeting at the Penn Harris Hotel. It was a beautiful day and we had a fantastic turnout! We were honored to have PA State Representative David H. Zimmerman, 99th District, as our distinguished guest speaker. The workshop sessions were excellent! Presenters were Andrew Tuleya of ARRO Consulting, Inc. who discussed GIS Mapping and demonstrated how integration with Office 365 can enhance daily operations and streamline asset management; Mike App of Swordfish and Electro Scan spoke regarding their innovative technology for both sewer and water condition assessment and provided important and timely information regarding the next step of the new Lead and Copper Rule; and Barry Wolfe of ARGOS HR Solutions, LLC lead an engaging session on succession planning. Ryan Mentzer of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC spoke on behalf of the Future Leaders Committee. The featured member benefit program was World Kinect Energy Services; Cheryl Hefft shared relevant information and insights on energy procurement, capacity and transmission. We had the opportunity to hear from several member associates and network. We had a great day and would like to thank everyone who came out! A special thank you to John Callahan and M&T Bank for your sponsorship and support!
