Panacea increases access to Whole Exome Sequencing (WES). WES is an extremely valuable medical genetic test and disease prevention tool as it sequences every single gene and is only needed once in an individual’s lifetime. Despite this, 80% of people who need genetic testing don't get tested, and we've learned this happens because several middlemen, like insurance companies, stand in the way. Panacea bypasses these middlemen and partners with quality labs and genetics experts to connect people directly to affordable medical grade testing and certified genetic counselors. We improve access to life-changing genetic testing so people can take control of their health and prevent disease.
