We were very proud to be a sponsor at the Under the Stars Gala, supporting Mondays Cancer Care. Mondays mission is to provide proven mind/body derived health, beauty, and wellness services to women, men and young adults undergoing treatment for any kind of cancer. It’s all 100% free of charge! Focus is on improving overall strength and reducing anxiety, focusing on the whole person, not just the disease. One of the honoree's of the evening was our friend and client, Michele Dean, CEO Suffolk Credit Union and strong supporter of Mondays Cancer Care. The group truly was out under the stars! Thanks for representing the team, Emily Barrows, John-Paul (J.P.) O’Connor, Chris Jones and Bruce D Smith, CFA !

Do you need to retain a critical executive? Is it time to reward your best leaders? Are you looking for the executives that will take you to the next level? Are you approaching a leadership transition? Almost all credit union boards are faced with one of these questions, and if that describes your credit union or non-profit, a Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERPs) maybe the answer. Join us for a webinar so we can guide you through the process!

With Hurricane Milton quickly approaching Florida, we are sending prayers for safety to everybody in and all around the state as well as continued prayers for those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Here are a few tips to keep in mind: · First, stay calm and levelheaded. · Keep your devices charged - phones, iPads, computers, electric toothbrushes, medical devices, power tools, etc. · Take videos/photos of your entire house, inside and out! Go room to room! Having proof of the condition before impact will help you validate the claims with your insurance company! Email the videos/photos to yourself or someone outside the affected area and save on the cloud. · Have your flashlights ready and batteries to replace as needed. If you have solar powered lights for the yard, put them in your windows to charge during the day to supply some lighting in your home in the evening. · Have water to drink for each person (about 5 gallons per person). · Make sure you have a non-electric can opener to open canned goods. · Extra propane or charcoal for cooking on your grill if you lose power. · Store water bottles in the freezer …. Get large zip lock bags and fill 3/4 way with water (drinkable) & place in the freezer. · Keep any important jewelry on you in case you need to leave suddenly. · Fill tubs with water to use to flush toilets (if your water supply is out); this can also be a source for fresh water to wash hands/freshen up. · Turn the AC down cold and get the home freezing before the power goes out ….your house will stay cooler longer. · Don’t forget food & water for your pets!! · If/when you are ready, check with neighbors, especially elderly, to see how you can assist them.

Tim Strandquist and Morgan Strandquist joined David Tuyo this week at the the Collegiate Athletics Leasership Symposium (CALS). PARC Street Partners is excited to be a part of this event which is designed to equip athletic administrators with both practical knowledge they can apply immediately in their current position as well as skills they can use when pursuing further career goals. CALS gives attendees the opportunity to connect with some of the most influential AD's, search firm executives, and thought leaders in college athletics. The results are sports professionals thoroughly inspired and highly motivated to lead today and in the future.
