This week's Convergence conference (by UPCEA & AACRAO) was all about how we can address this population. - Why didn't they persist? - What can we do to support the adult population today? - How can we prevent that number from growing? - How can we think differently about how we credential? 💡 While there are no easy answers, below are some innovate approaches we heard throughout the week: - Developing robust Credit-for-Prior-Learning systems, including the transfer of CPL from institution to institution - Issuing badges and microcredentials throughout a student's journey to provide value at each stage of their experience - Increasing the transparency of credentials so that learners can see what outcomes and opportunities can be expected. #credovation
