📣 Heads-up #EFMP families! ❓Did you know that the #Tricare Claim Form DD 2642 was updated in September 2024? 💡For those of you who receive services from non-network providers in an office setting or receive durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies (from network or non-network providers), you may need to file a claim on your own to Tricare. 🔔 Make sure to use the newest DD 2642 form because if you use an older claim form, it will get denied. https://lnkd.in/eMpUq-8g #EFMP #MilitaryChildren #MilitaryFamilies #SpecialEducation

What an incredible week at the Association of Defense Communities (ADC) Installation Innovation Forum! Nothing compares to the hospitality of Texas! It was great to see many of our colleagues including Lisa Howard, MSW from the The Barry Robinson Center. Our Executive Director Michelle Norman was honored to join a panel and share her military spouse experience as a Board member of the Virginia MIC3 Council and their best practices related to research conducted by the Defense-State Liaison Office (DSLO) and the Clearinghouse for Military Readiness at Penn State University on the implementation of four DOD policy priorities supporting military child education: Advanced Enrollment, Purple Star Schools, the Military Student Identifier, and the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children. We are grateful to elevate military children with disabilities and their education and how military spouses can use their voices to make an impact in their local areas and states. #MilitaryChildren #MilitaryFamilies #SpecialEducation #EFMP #ADC #DOD
