When we think robots, people think of drones or maybe R2-D2. But what about #buildings? They are the world’s biggest, most complex—and ubiquitous— robots. Imagine a world where the building you’re in isn’t just a passive structure but a proactive partner. A space that anticipates your needs, adjusts to your preferences, and even contributes to a more sustainable future. This vision isn't science fiction; it's the future of the built environment. PassiveLogic’s Hive Autonomous Platform makes this robotic future a reality. Read more in a new blog post ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/d-CVk34C

PassiveLogic announced the results of its latest Differentiable Swift AI toolchain speed earlier this week. Differentiable Swift performed: 🚀 683x faster than Google’s TensorFlow 🚀 3610x faster than Meta’s PyTorch For #AI, compute speed reigns supreme. The ability to rapidly process information is critical for unlocking the full potential of AI applications at the edge. Leading AI frameworks, while powerful, often struggle to keep up with the demands of real-time computation and even more so on resource-constrained devices. By leveraging the blazing-fast combination of NVIDIA’s Jetson Orin processor and Differentiable Swift, PassiveLogic’s AI models operate at unprecedented speeds, even on personal computers, smartphones, IoT systems, and small, embedded devices. The (long overdue) digital revolution is coming for the built world. As CEO Troy Harvey told Jennie Morton in BUILDINGS, “Buildings are no longer just an asset—they are a digital platform with services plugged into it.” Transformation is not plugging IoT devices into a building and calling that digitization. Buildings need a brain to unify these devices so building management systems can respond dynamically. For buildings to meet their goals, they need to act on their own. That starts with a building that has an understanding of itself so it cane react as it receives real-time information. PassiveLogic’s work in Differentiable Swift makes this real-time, edge-based autonomy possible. The Hive Platform is the first AI solution—the brain—that oversees the multitude of interconnected variables that govern a building and responds autonomously in an intelligent manner. Check out Troy’s full conversation with Jennie to understand how #AI is changing #proptech 👉 https://lnkd.in/gW_KXXPt

Did you know? Buildings can have up to a million I/O points, which makes them impractical to optimize using current building technology. To enable autonomous building control, PassiveLogic had to invent a new foundational technology capable of handling the sheer compute and complexity needed. Our solution? Utilize heterogeneous neural networks for our AI computations. This industry-first enables an introspectable and composable AI framework that’s not only efficient but also trained on the laws of physics. Because of this, our approach differs in five distinct ways: ✏️ No training data required  ⏰ No training time needed 📥 No overfitting 💭 No hallucinations 🔦 No black boxes So, what exactly is a heterogenous neural network? Check out this blog where we break it down. 👇 https://lnkd.in/gZVF8-qQ #AI #AItraining #passivelogic #DifferentiableSwift

What if you could have super-fast #AI processing that slashes power consumption by 99%? ⚡️🌱 #PassiveLogic's updates to the Differentiable #Swift compiler have set a new energy efficiency precedent, surpassing industry standards. Differentiable Swift performed: ⚡️ 992x more efficiently than Google’s #TensorFlow ⚡️ 4,948x more efficiently than Meta’s #PyTorch AI is the defining technology of this decade, but it comes with steep energy costs. International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasts that global data center electricity consumption will reach 1,000 TWh by 2026—equivalent to the annual energy consumption of Japan. This unsustainable trajectory threatens both technological progress and our planet. PassiveLogic’s Differentiable Swift updates provide the first industry solution to both challenges.
