Since launching in 2004, BiggerPockets has been dedicated to helping active real estate investors start, scale, and manage their rental portfolios. However, we recognized a gap in our offerings—the need to support experienced investors looking to explore passive investing opportunities, often to avoid the headaches of dealing with tenants, termites, and toilets. In 2024, BiggerPockets took a significant step forward by acquiring Left Field Investors (LFI), a leading community for passive real estate investors to learn and network. Left Field Investors brings deep expertise in this space, an active community, strong industry relationships, and a solid operational and monetization framework. Combining LFI’s foundation with BiggerPockets' operations led to the creation of PassivePockets.
