💥 The front end of a project is so important to its success 💥 We often see clients try to rush through FEL thinking that is the way to shorten their schedule which is a fallacy. This chart shows the difference a well-defined project can make. As good as your Execution may be, you can’t execute your way out of a poorly defined project!

Cost estimating accuracy is dependent on several factors: 1️⃣ The Scope Definition (both technical and execution) 2️⃣ Estimating Methodology and Quality of the Estimating Database 3️⃣ Risk Assessment Your estimate will only be as good as the lowest common denominator. If you perform a very detailed level estimate on a poorly defined scope, you should not classify it at a higher level than the scope (both technical and execution) warrants. It’s recommended to hire an impartial third-party to assist with estimating your project, verifying the accuracy of your estimates, and creating contingency plans based on potential risks.
