  • Tucker is an integral part of the Pathways Consulting Group team. He is our system administrator who wears many hats, from performing core configuration and development activities to maintaining our systems and monitoring performance. He even troubleshoots issues and outages, playing the role of Help Desk for our internal team. Not only is Tucker a fantastic System Administrator for PCG but he also works with our fantastic customers as a System Administrator. Tucker is an engaging conversationalist, striking up and carrying a conversation with everyone and anyone. When Tucker isn’t managing the PCG infrastructure he is a family man spending time with his wife and kids, rebuilding arcade games, and listening to smooth jazz. Thank you for all you do Tucker, and Happy System Administrator Day! #PathwaysCG #ServiceNow #SystemAdmins #ThankYou

  • Who's got the aux? At Pathways, it's probably Jason! Over the years, he's amassed quite the collection of music, and his taste is impeccable. When you need a recommendation for good tunes, he's the man to see! Check out what he has to say: "I’ve never really thought of it as a talent. An obsession? Sure. A nuisance to my family, friends, and colleagues? At times, probably. No matter how you label it, it’s been with me as long as I can remember. Somewhere, there are old photographs of a four or five-year-old me wearing orange headphones from the 1970s plugged into the living room stereo. Forty-plus years later, little has changed, except maybe the color of the headphones. I’ve been building my own music library since the early 1980’s. The first album I remember getting was Michael Jackson’s Thriller (of course) on cassette. Since then, I’ve been adding records, CDs, and a few cassettes to my collection at a steady pace. Almost everything I’ve ever acquired is still on my shelf today. Over the last 15-20 years, I’ve been shopping at second-hand record stores. It’s different than shopping for new music because the inventory is less predictable. When I go, I usually stay for about two hours, at least, and spend most of the time flipping through the new arrivals and bargain bins, which are usually unsorted. I’ve found a few real gems that way . . . gems in my estimation, anyway. It’s difficult to articulate why it’s so important to me. Why does anyone enjoy anything? I can key in on certain rhythms, time signatures, production techniques, melodies, harmonies, vocal performances, lyrics, etc., as the highlights of certain tracks. But, a really great song is greater than the sum of its parts. The most important thing is that the band/artist/songwriter is being honest with themselves and the listener. When I think about my favorite songs, albums, and artists, that’s the common element. And, when I find a song/album/artist that I like, I’ll absorb all the information I can. Sometimes, that means reading all the liner notes while listening to a record or CD. Sometimes, that means reading through Wikipedia pages or other sites (usually while listening to the album). For whatever reason, my retention rate for music trivia is pretty high. So, to others’ delight or contempt, I’ll interrupt a conversation to share such information about a song that’s being discussed or may be playing in the background. I often get asked how many records and CDs I own. Honestly, I’m not sure. It’s more than 500 and less than 1,000, but I know people with larger collections. I’m always happy to add to it, but I’m not trying to set a record or anything. I just want good stuff to listen to." #PathwaysCG #ServiceNow #HiddenTalents #RockGod #PathwaysDJ
