Meet our speakers! We are so inspired by Karlee McMullen, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor at 13. Today, she is looking forward to attending UNC-Charlotte to study early childhood education and is the recipient of one of our Scholarships for Survivors. Celebrating this panel of experts at #ARM24! We had a great discussion exploring the rise of AI and its impact on the field of HSR. We covered a lot of ground, from using ChatGPT to write sonnets and obituaries to using AI for systematic reviews to comparing ChatGPT with NLP to questioning the role of AI in advancing or hindering health equity. The technology is developing rapidly, and we are faced with challenging questions for evaluating trustworthiness, value, cost, and impact on power structures. It was a pleasure to see a full room with attendees eagerly engaging in discussion with the panel. Exciting times! Lucy Savitz Karen A. Robinson Adam Wilcox Rebekah S.M.
