📣 Exciting news from the 30th Panhellenic Academic Libraries Conference in Athens! 📅 On October 25, our partner HEAL-Link (Hellenic Academic Libraries Link) held a workshop on Research Data Management (RDM), attended by 20 participants eager to learn and engage. 👥 The workshop introduced RDM principles and set the stage for our upcoming training, “PATTERN - Quickstart to Open Science.” 📚 Participants actively discussed their RDM practices, sharing insights 💡 on their confidence in planning and organising RDM procedures, as well as challenges related to data storage and preservation. Key discussions highlighted the cultural barriers to RDM adoption in Greece, the importance of integrating tools like the HARDMIN Research Data Repository with the DMP tool Argos, and the vital role libraries play in RDM support. 📚 Thanks to the fantastic contributions from Marios Balatzaras, Giannis Tsakonas, and Theodora Karaiskou, the workshop gathered positive feedback, demonstrating a strong desire for further training opportunities. 🤝

#PATTERN was at the ORRI FORUM, which was organised by the #REINFORCING project. 🤝 Our team members Stefania Laneve and Teodora Konach had the pleasure of presenting the main innovative aspects of PATTERN training modules on transferable skills. It was a very inspiring workshop and discussion, full of ideas and inputs for our project's activities. 💡 The Forum has also been the occasion to collaboratively reflect on ORRI practices and on the barriers we need to address to mainstream and implement ORRI in different fields and contexts. 🌐 Thank you, #REINFORCING, for this great opportunity!
