Today in #shipyard milestones: Blount Boats recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. Founded by Luther H. Blount in 1949 with the construction of a small, twin-hull raft, the third-generation family-owned company now builds and repairs passenger and vehicle ferries, stern trawlers, offshore supply vessels, dinner boats, and small cruise vessels.
