It has come to our attention that employment scams are becoming more common. Electronic communications from PAYETTE will always come from someone with a ‘payette dot com’ email address and we will never ask for any employment forms, particularly those requesting personal information such as social security or bank account numbers, to be completed in advance of the completion of our hiring process. Please feel free to call our office at 617-895-1000 to verify any communications that may seem suspicious. Thank you.

We are thrilled to have two PAYETTE People running for positions with the Boston Society of Architects. Calvin Boyd II AIA – Board of Directors Calvin Boyd is an architect and associate at PAYETTE who is deeply committed to designing a more just architectural profession. He has served as chair of the BSA Ethics Committee, co-chair of the BSA EDI Network, and plays an active role within PAYETTE’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. In addition, he believes “that Boston, with its unique social, climate, and housing-related challenges is fertile ground for our new visionary executive director and a well-rounded board to tactically implement solutions that have impact beyond our state lines.” Emily Miyares AIA – Membership Committee Emily is a champion of mentorship, serving as the Advisor of PAYETTE’s licensing resource group and as the coordinator of the annual Boston PIC Internship program. She has also co-chaired the MLK Day of Service, now in its seventh year. We are thrilled to announce our seventh annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Service. Each year, PAYETTE embarks on a pro bono, collaborative effort to make our design services accessible to local communities. The Day of Service includes a full day workshop where PAYETTE teams brainstorm and iterate design solutions with input from each community partner. We delight in the diversity of community partners and scales of projects that we are able to support, ranging from urban-scale master plans to façade improvements to interior renovations. Does your organization have a project in mind that could benefit from our design services? Visit the link below to learn about next steps and the submission process. https://lnkd.in/eSMeuxuJ

"There was an atmosphere of homecoming and celebration at the Women's Leadership Summit in Boston. There were celebrations of how far we had come, and an understanding that there is still room to grow as a profession. I left certain it was the electric energy of all the collective women in the room that would inspire the growth that we all need. I am fortunate to be a small part of it." - Shreeyah Shakya We are thrilled to support the mission of the 2024 Women's Leadership Summit as a Contributing Sponsor. We look forward to connecting with our greater community in Chicago in just a few weeks! More information on registration for this extraordinary event can be found here: https://lnkd.in/endHYjv3
