Today, on World Mental Health Day, we want to shed light on an often unseen challenge: the mental health challenges faced by children and families fighting pediatric cancer. Cancer doesn't just impact the body—it affects the mind and heart, too. From the moment of diagnosis, kids endure stress, fear, and uncertainty. Hospital visits, treatments, and feeling “different” can lead to anxiety, depression, and isolation. For parents, the emotional toll of watching their child fight this battle can be overwhelming. This is why we prioritize offering group programs that provide emotional comfort to local pediatric cancer families. By connecting them with others on a similar journey and offering access to counselors through our mental health support groups, we help create a supportive community where no one faces the challenges of pediatric cancer alone. Let’s raise awareness today about the importance of mental health care for these incredible fighters. #WorldMentalHealthDay #PediatricCancerAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #PCFLV

✨UPDATE ✨ PCFLV's Miller-Keystone site visit was rescheduled to this Friday, October 11th - at the Bethlehem location from 9am-1pm! Come out, donate blood, and visit with us! Schedule your appointment for Friday or any day using Group ID 7531 here: https://lnkd.in/eMTgbyD Most of our cancer warriors need blood and blood products at some point during treatment, so continuous blood donations are critical to help maintain the available blood supply. Just as we support local families, Miller-Keystone supplies our local hospitals. Please consider donating! 💛🙏 #DonateBloodBeAHero #pediatriccancer #lehighvalley #PCFLV

Thanks to the generosity of the Dorney Park Cares program, our families received free admission and lunch, making this beautiful fall day even more special. A big shout-out to Abbe and Andy, two of our amazing volunteers, for helping Kristine with hosting duties and bringing their enthusiasm to the event! #familyfun #dorneypark #PCFLV
