✨ Happy Rosh Hashanah! ✨ Rosh Hashanah, meaning "head of the year" in Hebrew, marks the celebration of the Jewish New Year. It's a time for reflection, renewal, and hope. Families come together to share special foods and traditions, each adding their unique touch to the observance. Many gather at temples and synagogues for meaningful services, embracing messages of hope and atonement as we step into this new year. This year, Rosh Hashanah began at sunset on October 2 and ends at nightfall on October 4. Wishing everyone a sweet and fulfilling year ahead! #PCMA #PCMAGMC #RoshHashanah #JewishNewYear #Tradition

The International Day of Sign Languages is celebrated annually on September 23rd to raise awareness about the importance of sign languages in achieving the human rights of deaf people. Established by the United Nations in 2017, this day coincides with the founding of the World Federation of the Deaf in 1951. The observance highlights the cultural and linguistic identity of deaf communities worldwide and promotes the use of sign languages as essential tools for inclusion and communication. By recognizing the value of sign languages, this day advocates for the preservation and protection of these languages and calls for equal access to services, education, and opportunities for the deaf community. #PCMA #PCMAGMC #InternationalDayofSignLanguages #Communication #Inclusion

World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is observed annually on September 10th to raise awareness about suicide and promote efforts to prevent it worldwide. Established in 2003 by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the day serves as a platform to bring together governments, organizations, and individuals to address the global issue of suicide. The observance aims to encourage open conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and advocate for supportive policies and interventions. To support WSPD, individuals can participate in local and online events, educate themselves and others about the signs of suicide risk, offer emotional support to those struggling, and advocate for better mental health resources and policies. #PCMA #PCMAGMC #Help #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention
