So thankful for the opportunity to be part of a panel discussion at the Wisconsin Association of Health Plans this past week with experts Tom Lutzow and moderated by Betsy Van Heesch! Topics covered were around Advancing Integration to Improve Outcomes for Medicaid Members. Our conversation ranged a multitude of different topics around improved outcomes and improved member engagement: * Data! Use it and make it personal * EMR - figure out how to get info from disparate systems and process (such as the Health Risk Assessment) into the HRA via data migration, importing HRA reports in order to improve value of that information between the member and their PCP *How to support workforce who are already stretched thin: 1115 HRSN workforce, and even the role of AI in supporting the workforce. *DSNP plans, new plans being born and some new rules coming related to plans that have DSNP plans/population Overall it was a tremendous event, which saw all constituents at the table to learn together and work toward understanding and solutions. (Brokers, Consultants, Vendors, Plans, Providers).

#Activate2024 hosted by mPulse is officially a wrap. I had to priviledge to host a session titled 'Unpacking the Consumer Centric Experience'. A huge shout out to Nora Cristobal and Reva Sheehan for pulling everything together for a great discussion and thank you to each of our panelists Cristina Chaparro, Judy Razo and Craig Kennedy! Takeaways from our time together: 1. The journey is personal. Figure out how to put yourself in a position of empathy and build your support to the member based on that understanding. 2. Data. There is so much data, find it and use it (leading data like an HRA, population data, etc) to make better informed decisions about your members. 3. Each member is unique. You must develop rapport and trust with them (at all costs) in order to have the most impact with them on their journey.
