Our esteemed doctors, Dr. Tarabadkar, Dr. Murphy, Dr. Robertson, Dr. Duralde (Emeritus), and Dr. Zoldos, came together to share valuable insights about mentoring opportunities at Peachtree Orthopedics and the Peachtree Orthopedics Foundation grant program for away rotations during the 4th year of medical school.  The event was well attended, and students left feeling inspired and empowered! Exciting Update! Dr. Emilie Zoldos is now available to see patients at our new location in Braselton. Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Dr. Zoldos was a Division 1 athlete in track and field and cross country at Stanford University, where she earned her undergraduate education. She then received her Medical Degree from Vanderbilt University, where she was honored to be elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Zoldos completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt and further specialized in hand and microvascular surgery during her fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Last week, a remarkable team of 31 Peachtree Orthopedics employees traveled to Honduras on a mission for our Peachtree Orthopedics Foundation, in collaboration with One World Surgery. Under the leadership of Dr. Steve Smith and Katie Smith, along with Dr. Jonathan York, Dr. Scott Pennington, Dr. Ryan Cone, and Dr. David Strick of Piedmont Anesthesia Associates, our dedicated group performed an incredible 36 total knee replacements and 4 shoulder surgeries—all at no cost for the deserving people of Honduras. We are immensely proud of their outstanding work ethic, positive attitudes, and inspiring teamwork! This mission exemplified the power of collaboration and commitment to making a difference. We’re thrilled to share that Dr. George Fryhofer is now seeing patients at our NEW location in Braselton! Dr. Fryhofer, a proud Atlantan, completed his medical education and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He further specialized in Spine Surgery during a fellowship, focusing on cutting-edge techniques in minimally invasive outpatient spine surgery, including cervical disc replacement. PROUD MOMENT - Dr. Neil Tarabadkar, M.D. had the honor to serve as the ‘MAG Doctor of the Day’ at the Georgia State Capitol this past Tuesday. Each day during the legislative session, the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) has a licensed physician volunteer at the Medical Aid Station, providing free minor medical care to legislators and their staff. Dr. Tarabadkar was introduced by his district's state representative, Deborah Silcox, who is the wife of Dr. Hal Silcox, III, M.D., one of our other esteemed physicians, alongside Speaker of the House Jon Burns.
