Last month Ellen Weiner, one of Pear’s Senior Grant Writing Specialists, attended The LEAH Project's Summer Symposium at MIT. The LEAH Project’s mission is to promote the power of young people, especially BIPOC youth, to diversify fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The Symposium offers LEAH’s Youth Leaders the opportunity to showcase their findings from their summer lab internships. For almost two years, Ellen has helped the organization obtain funding through grant writing. In addition to developing proposals in collaboration with the LEAH Project team, Ellen manages their pipeline to ensure timely drafts and submissions of grants and reports. Over the past four years, Pear Associates has provided grant writing support to Phoenix Charter Academy Network.
