Happy 89th Birthday Willie! 🎉🏒 This morning, we came together to celebrate and honor Hockey Hall of Fame icon, Willie O’Ree. In 1958, Willie became the first Black player to play in the National Hockey League (NHL), later moving on to play 7 seasons of his hockey career with the San Diego Gulls from 1967-1974. Pechanga Arena will have a permanent plaque installed in our building to honor his continuing legacy and positive impact on the hockey community. 📸 Alan Hess

Today, October 10th, we’re lighting our venue green in honor of #WorldMentalHealthDay. Together, we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage our communities to prioritize mental well-being. It’s okay to not be okay. Let’s support one another, raise awareness, and spread the message that mental health matters. Join us in shining a light on this important cause. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other, today and every day. 💚
