Back to Leicestershire yesterday for Antony Hughes Verifying a Cadent Gas Limited High pressure Gas main running through a new development. The Vivax Metrotech was used to locate the main and sprayed out with depth before excavation took place (we also had a full survey completed a few weeks ago). The vivax was also used as we progressed through the ground. Strict digging practises were adhered to , hand digging the first pit to find the depth. Then only being allowed to use the machine to scrape away the upper soils, probing until we were 600mm from the pipe. Antony Hughes surveyed all the pits using the new equipment from PPM Michael Singer and the report is taking shape nicely within Geolantis.360.
