About us
Undergraduate Education (UE) is an academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs and initiatives in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State. UE works closely with faculty and academic units to create stimulating learning environments inside the classroom while providing avenues for learning outside the classroom and provides leadership and advocacy as Penn State becomes a more student-centered university. Meet first-gen students, faculty, staff, and alumni for a mixer with free food, networking, first-gen recognition awards, and awesome door prizes at the First-Gen Community Night on Thur., Nov. 7, from 6–8 p.m. in the HUB-Robeson Center's Lion's Lair (HUB 008). Community Night attendees are encouraged to bring an item for the Lion's Pantry and to register to save a spot. Congratulations to Gina Gray, assistant teaching professor of kinesiology at Penn State Scranton, on being one of eight winners in Penn State University’s Campus-wide Accessible Syllabus Competition. “The Anthology Ally tool in Canvas is a big help for [making syllabi accessible], as it not only suggests parts of the syllabus that can be improved for accessibility, but also provides helpful links for how to make those changes if you don’t already know how to do them.” – Gina Gray The University also recognized Penn State Hazleton for having the highest participation percentage.
