Last week, a few of our team members gathered for a fun, friendly competition—Hungry Hippo: The People’s Edition. Each participant got an office chair and a laundry basket, then took position in a corner of the training room. Their goal was to collect as many balls as possible. The “hungry” in Hungry Hippo comes from our Ideal Team Player values—Humble, Hungry, and Smart. In this context, being hungry means always striving for more: taking on new tasks, learning, seeking more responsibility, and growing both personally and professionally.

Peoples State Bank had the privilege to sponsor another Women’s Leadership Conference, where a handful of our employees spent the day learning and connecting with other powerful women in the community. The conference is designed to provide attendees with powerful framework and tools to grow professionally and personally and become more effective leaders and the best version of themselves.
