Happy CTE Month! Yesterday, the Robotics Rivalry came back to the DAC. Mrs. Laura Vesely and Mr. Jason Nuttall's teams faced-off with the support and guidance of Cactus High School and Peoria High School's robotics teams. Students in the Automation & Robotics program learn fundamental engineering principles, production planning, technical problem solving and quality control. Additionally, students can earn a Smart Automation Certification that qualifies them for high-wage, high-demand jobs in our community. #PeoriaUnifiedProud

Yesterday, CTE Month came to the DAC! Law Enforcement students from Centennial High School showcased their knowledge by conducting field sobriety tests and teaching employees about evidence collection at crime scenes. Last school year, 192 industry credentials were earned by Law Enforcement students helping to ensure they are prepared for college and career. #PeoriaUnifiedProud
