Our Asian American Resource Group hosted a Diwali event to share with employees the meaning of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. The event featured a cultural attire fashion show, a traditional dance demonstration, and traditional Indian food. Pepco and IBEW Local 1900 employees proudly joined thousands at the National Mall for the 2024 American Foundation for Suicide Prevention ‘Out of Darkness’ Walk. Nearly 100 employees and their families pledged their time to support AFSP’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those impacted by suicide. “We honor the memory of those we lost and address the stigma of mental health and suicide,” said IBEW Local 1900 President Jerry R.
