Apple faced significant blowback when it eliminated the headphone jack in 2017. But space is tight inside a phone, and there's a zero-sum tradeoff between 'more battery' and everything else. Our data indicates that consumers prioritize battery life strongly. When given a choice between a larger battery or other features, like a smaller phone size, they overwhelmingly choose the former.

It’s harder than ever to find the right product online. Spammy search results, fake reviews and paid affiliate sites make it nearly impossible to get an honest and smart recommendation. We’re going to solve that problem by using actual human subject-area experts, combined with machine learning, to help everyone — regardless of their expertise — find their perfect product, quickly. Online shopping doesn’t have to be a huge waste of time or a battle with scammers. Getting good recommendations at the right price point is possible. We are building PerfectRec to make that possibility a reality. We will enable people to find the right stuff, faster — and make their lives better, easier, less wasteful and a little more perfect.
